Coastal Air Service, based in Yakutat Alaska, operates some the best bush planes ever built. We have 1 DeHavilland Turbine Otter and a Robinson R-66 with Pop Out Floats. All of our planes are equipped with Tundra Tires and state of the art navigational technology.
Owner, Hans Munich has been flying wheeled and float planes since 1987. His 36 years flying experience has taken him from the Alaskan Bush to the tip of the Baja and thousands of places in between. Hans’ passion his aircraft and the flying is apparent, when you see how meticulously they have been cared for.
Coastal Air Service is located in the GREY building, just 2 doors down from the Alaska Airlines Terminal. When you arrive in Yakutat, you can just walk on over or we will gladly pick you and your baggage up.
World Class fishing and Scenic flights to the Hubbard Glacier and beyond are just a few of the amazing experiences that await you on the beautiful Lost Coast of South East Alaska, Yakutat. The Yakutat Chamber of Commerce is also a good source.
